Nobody by Wonder Girls

Nobody by Wonder Girls

This popular song by Wonder Girls I realise, comes with dance moves that many people can follow. Ethan's school concert last year taught the five year olds similar dance steps and even Ethan who was observing the practices picked up some of the steps.

It goes:
"I want nobody nobody But You, I want nobody nobody But You
........
I want nobody nobody nobody nobody"

Last night, I stumbled upon Psalm 73:25-26 and tears were just streaming down as I read it over and over again. It is so wonderful to worship our God and have this love relationship with Him. It seems not too long that I was spiritually dry and longing to fellowship with God again but now even Psalm 73:26-26 makes me cry and yes, I thought of how similar the psalm was to the Wonder Girl chorus bit. :) Through Him, I receive all my blessings in life, my family and friends and good health. Praise the Lord!

Psalm 73:25-26

"25 Whom have I in heaven but you?
And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever."

"My flesh and my heart may fail," refers to the cough that never seems to go away. I know it is deceit from the devil, discouragement given to me by the evil one to prevent me from seeing the victory that I have in Jesus. I know it is a deceit because my energy level is up and I am putting on a bit of weight. So I cry out to God for He is my strength who helps through this moment. I bind and break every spirit of affliction and discouragement and every work of darkness that comes against me and I cast them into the deepest part of the sea in Jesus' name. May God fill me heart with His love, joy and peace. Amen!

  1. Hi Liz,

Ya, the way to go, speak life to yourself. Appropriate the faithfulness of God.
Thumb the devil down, in the Name of Jesus.

Lord, let the morning bring her word of your unfailing love, for she have put her trust in you. Show her the way she should go, for to you she has entrusted her life (Ps 143:8). Amen. Anthony Chia
