Some of you may have known that the kids and Henry have been living away from me for 4 days in a week for the past 8 months so that I get more rest and my mum was over to look after me. But as of 29 March 2010, our family has been reunited. Praise the Lord! I actually wanted an earlier reunion and I actually sketched a picture of us together so that when I pray for this reunion there is substance in my mind. "Faith is the substance of things hoped for". I had a date of 31 August 2009 and later that moved to 18 September 2009 and then I said it has got to be God's timing.
So it was, well it was Nic's timing! Initially it was the boys observing I was getting stronger and Ethan noticing I could carry him sometimes. Then they wondered why we had to be separated if I weren't sick. And I said "Yay! Praise the Lord! These are all signs that I am healed!".
It has been 2 weeks now with the family sleeping together. It sure feels good to touch and smell them again during bed time especially little Ethan boy.
But the past 2 weeks Ethan was down with red throat now and then that caused him to vomit in the middle of the night and messing up the bed. The worst was on Saturday, a whole day of fever so we could not make it for Saturday prayers and we also missed out on Marvin's sermon on Sunday! :( We have been laying hands on Ethan and praying and it would go away and come back again. It did not help that his cousin was also down with cough. I just want to thank God for healing Ethan and for protecting me and the rest of my family as well.
All in all I want to thank God and praise Him for reuniting my family and no germ or evil is going to break us apart again! And also, it humbled me that God knows best after all i.e. it was 29 March 2010 and not 31 August 2009.
Isaiah 48:17
This is what the LORD says—
your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel:
"I am the LORD your God,
who teaches you what is best for you,
who directs you in the way you should go."
