Bali Hai - Part 7 (Tanah Lot/ Baruna god)

The seas are ruled by the god Baruna and its statue can be seen at one of the roundabouts in Bali.

So this is the infamous Tanah Lot. Once there was the belief that the sea was the dwelling place of malevolent forces. To the mountains is designated as where the gods live while to the sea is where the evil spirits reside. The seas are ruled by the god Baruna and its statue can be seen at one of the roundabouts in Bali. The temple was set up to worship this sea god, a bit like the mythical Neptune wouldn't you say? Ethan and Nic likes splashing in puddles of water at the black volcanic sandy beach.

Sunset at Tanah Lot. "Garang" was the term used to describe the sun.

My idea of Balinese dancing. How do they dislocate their bones to get that angle?

I guess this is where the painters get their inspirations from.
